Heather Cook is a Sync Music Executive, Producer, Singer-Songwriter, Music Doc Director, and Author with 20+ years in the music industry. She began her career in the early 2000s at The Voice Studio in Boston, training under celebrity vocal coaches and working with Stuart “Dinky” Dawson (Fleetwood Mac, The Byrds), Denny Dias (Steely Dan), and Paul Main (Roy Acuff). She holds a B.A. in Music Business from Belmont University and an M.A. in Music Business from Berklee College of Music.

Heather founded her first company, Cookin’ Up Music Publishing & Artist Management, and later spent a decade as a Sync Ad Creative at peermusic and a year at Eternal Music Group. As Senior Music Event Producer at the Nashville Film Festival, she hosted top music supervisors, produced numerous artist showcases, and educated hundreds of creatives on sync licensing. She has also served as AIMP Nashville’s Administrative Director, SOLID Alumni President, and is an active Recording Academy Professional Member and Mentor.

Today, Heather leads Freedom Music Group, securing placements with the Super Bowl, Pro Bowl, Grey’s Anatomy, 9-1-1, UFC Championship, NHL Stanley Cup, Love Island, Found, and more. Alongside running FMG, she releases music as Brewster Bee, with tracks featured in the Super Bowl, Pro Bowl, WNBA, ESPN, and 30+ sports arenas. She also manages retro-pop artist Tabitha Meeks, co-founded Nashville In Sync, and is the author of Music for Marketing & Brands.
